The location of the hotel was a bit disappointing as the local scenery was not as picturesque as we had hoped. the surrounding area lacked the beautiful lakes that are typically associated with a Lake District, and the countryside was mostly flat.

We had a pleasant stay in a very friendly and comfortable hotel. the staff, a warm and welcoming family, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. the room was clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities. the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, and the restaurant served excellent food. the hotel's location allowed us to explore some interesting small towns nearby.
We were a bit disappointed with the lack of scenic views in the surrounding countryside.
